Important update: WA Drummond Golf WA Oaks Day postponed due to severe weather conditions.
Perth Racing and Racing WA have been closely monitoring the severe weather conditions forecast for the Perth Metropolitan Area over the past several days. After careful assessment, and in the interest of ensuring the safety of our Members, event attendees, staff, riders, and horses, the decision has been made to postpone Drummond Golf WA Oaks Day scheduled for Saturday, 28 March.
We understand this news is disappointing, and we thank you for your understanding as we prioritise the wellbeing of everyone involved.
We fully acknowledge that this is a critical period in the preparation of horses as they target major races during the Autumn Carnival, and we have collaborated closely with Racing WA to ensure that no races are lost from the calendar. Therefore, the updated racing schedule is as follows:

- The full race card from Saturday 28 March will be transferred to Ascot for Wednesday, 1 April.
- The mid-week racemeeting scheduled for Wednesday, 1 April at Belmont Park will move to Thursday, 2 April.
- The two meetings scheduled for Good Friday and Easter Saturday at Ascot will proceed as planned.
